المزمل ٧٣:١–٨

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُزَّمِّلُ ١
قُمِ ٱلَّيۡلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ٢
نِّصۡفَهُۥٓ أَوِ ٱنقُصۡ مِنۡهُ قَلِيلًا ٣
أَوۡ زِدۡ عَلَيۡهِ وَرَتِّلِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَرۡتِيلًا ٤
إِنَّا سَنُلۡقِي عَلَيۡكَ قَوۡلٗا ثَقِيلًا ٥
إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ ٱلَّيۡلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطۡـٔٗا وَأَقۡوَمُ قِيلًا ٦
إِنَّ لَكَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبۡحٗا طَوِيلٗا ٧
وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلۡ إِلَيۡهِ تَبۡتِيلٗا ٨
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
O you who wraps himself in clothing (1)
Arise to pray the night, except for a little (2)
Half of it - or subtract from it a little (3)
Or add to it, and recite the Qur’ān with measured recitation. (4)
Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word. (5)
Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence of heart and tongue and more suitable for words. (6)
Indeed, for you by day is prolonged occupation. (7)
And remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with complete devotion. (8)
